Who am I?
I am a lifelong car enthusiast hampered only by the realities of real life. I've been fortunate to have owned cars like the C5 Corvette and 996 Porsche 911, but understand the necessary practicality of my S213 Mercedes estate (wagon). It can be easy in the automotive world to dismiss anything that isn't the penultimate example, and I believe that those cars, the in-between trims, can be the most special.
These are all opinions, easily swayed, based on my own observations and ownership. I believe that cars should be driven, not hidden, and used for whatever you made need them to do regardless of their original intent. No one is driving off the lot to take their Cayenne to the Rubicon, but it has become a staple of the value that the used market presents to us today. No longer are we bound to craigslist ads for Chevy Cavaliers, when fleets of new vehicles have depreciated to the point that their maintenance is no longer a burden.
The used market is more exciting than it has ever been, lets explore it together.
